Karen is an Australia Post Local Hero 2023!

We are delighted to share that Australia Post has awarded us a Local Hero for 2023.

Australia Post recognises and promotes local businesses through this award and received a record number of applications this year – and we are one of the lucky winners! We are in good company with the 100 other local business heroes across Australia. Look out for them at your local post office and in your community.
The award is a recognition of our range of Australian-made garden signs. Designed by horticulturalist Karen Sutherland, there are over 100 signs for bush food, habitat and kitchen gardens. The signs have been a natural extension of our work in edible and educational gardens.

 The small nursery that supports our bush food garden work is based in Cosgrove, on Karen’s family property in country Victoria, and plants and signs are posted from the local post office.
