Avocado and Lillypilly Salad

  • Pick some self-seeded greens – Leafy Lettuce, Parsley, Land Cress
  • Pick some other winter greens – Lemon Sorrel, baby Beet leaves
  • Grab some Native Herbs – Warrigal Greens, Old Man Salt Bush
  • Add some chunks of home-grown Avocado – the variety ‘Bacon’ is able to be harvested now
  • Toss in some foraged Lillypilly fruit – halved and stone removed
  • Dress with olive oil, balsamic reduction (sweeter than regular Balsamic). crushed Pepperberry and Tassie Sea Salt and a touch of fresh lemon juice
