Small space, big harvest

Small or non-existent backyard? No worries! With some clever planning, your courtyard or balcony can be a highly productive garden.

Join garden designer and teacher, Karen Sutherland from Edible Eden Design, for this free workshop about growing food in a small space. Learn how to plan and design a small space garden, utilising raised beds, pots and containers. You’ll be able to take a look at what is growing well in the raised garden beds at the community gardens. Karen will also talk through choosing the best plants for small spaces.

This free workshop is hosted by Murrumbeena Community Garden with support from Glen Eira City Council.
