Indigenous & Multicultural Edible Garden Planting Day, Workshops & BBQ at LongBeach PLACE
Come and join us for fun and relaxed introductory workshops as we turn the sod on our first Indigenous & Multicultural Edible Garden!
You will be helping us plant the new Indigenous & Multicultural edible plants – including teas, spices and fruits as we create a beautiful, Indigenous & Multicultural productive garden for the community.
Workshop 1: Indigenous teas & Free BBQ 11.30am
Come and learn how to make Indigenous teas from plants you can grow in your own garden that will promote health & wellbeing.
Workshop 2: Sensory gardens 2-3pm
Learn how to grow a garden brimming with colour, scents, textures, shapes and tastes designed to engage as many of our senses as possible.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of something significant in our community.
