Online Class: Seasonal early-winter gardening

Karen Sutherland will talk about topics such as preserving herbs for tea, pre-sprouting of seeds, vegetables and herbs to plant now, nurturing the winter vegetable garden, perennial edibles and more.

Karen dug her first vegetable garden at the age of eight and has continued her food-growing journey, sharing her knowledge and passion for urban food growing with others through Edible Eden Design. Karen writes for Organic Gardener and Green Magazine, and has self-published her first book, Tomato, with gardening guru Penny Woodward and cookery writer Janice Sutton. She is a regular on radio and she and her gardens have been featured many times on TV. You can catch-up with Karen latest work on her YouTube channel.

At this online session, Karen will also showcase some of her latest projects and answer questions from participants.
