The Friends of the Melton Botanic Garden March Meeting features Karen Sutherland from Edible Eden Design, an FMBG Corporate Member and sponsor of the Melton Botanic Garden Bushfoods Garden.
Karen is presenting on Quandongs and How to Grow Them.
Learn about this Australian small desert tree that is an Aboriginal food source. Contemporary uses include pies, jam, and ice cream. Quandong jam certainly is lovely on scones. The flesh is highly nutritious and contains twice the vitamin C of an orange.

Karen draws on her 35 years of training and experience of bushfoods, sustainable gardening and landscaping in Melbourne and Victoria that is sure to inspire you. Karen will have items and plants for sale – cash or credit card payment
