There are many native Australian bottlebrushes species, this weeping variety is often covered with nectar bearing flowers which attract beneficial insects and birds such as the New Holland honeyeater and Red Wattlebird. The masses of red flowers are produced over a long period. This plant grows up to 2m tall and1.5m wide, ideal for smaller spaces and responds well to pruning.

  • Hardy plant, drought tolerant once established.
  • Grows in full sun to part shade.

  • Several can be grown to form a low hedge.
  • There are a limited number of these plants for sale in 50mm square plastic tubes.
