Product Details

Low growing evergreen shrub from 50 cm – 1 m high and wide. Regular pruning keeps plants bushier and increases fruiting, new leaves have an attractive bronze hue. Plant several to form a low informal fruiting hedge, small delicate white flowers are followed by speckled berries tasting of a mixture of blueberries with a hint of cinnamon, ginger and eucalyptus.

  • Plants can be used to make a hedge.
  • Plants prefer shade and need regular watering.
  • Plants fruit better if well-watered and grown in groups.
  • Can be grown in pots.
  • Unusual tasting fruit can be eaten straight from the bush and are produced over a long period in late summer and autumn.


There are a limited number of these plants for sale in plastic tubes.

Plant orders are shipped via express post early in the week so the plant arrives in the best possible condition and is not left over the weekend in a transport depot.

Please unpack as soon as possible and water well.
