Product Details

The blue green leaves are sweetly scented with lemon/ginger/rose when crushed. The Native lemon grass plant forms an attractive clump, the older leaves form interesting curls, this plant size is in a 75 mm round black plastic pot.

Cultivation - Evergreen grass reaching 60 cm but can grow taller. Drought and frost tolerant once established, it prefers good drainage. Protect young plants from cold winters in the first year or so until well established. Cut back every 2-3 years to promote new growth if no regular harvesting is occurring.
Uses - Fresh or dried leaves can be used to make a delicious tea.
Plant orders are shipped via express post early in the week so the plant arrives in the best possible condition and is not left over the weekend in a transport depot.

Please unpack as soon as possible and water well.
