Product Details
A medium tree to 5 m high in Victoria. Can be grown as a tree or coppiced by pruning regularly into a large shrub. Suitable to grow in a pot. Needs a protected position to establish for the first couple of years in frost prone areas.
The new leaves have a bronze hue which contrasts with the older grey green leaves. An elegant slow growing gum. The aromatic leaves have a berry aroma and taste. Fresh leaves can be made into herbal tea, cooked with fruit or added to berry recipes to intensify the flavour of the dish. Dried and ground leaves can be used in desserts and baking and are fantastic added to whipped cream or vegan cream.
Plant orders are shipped via express post early in the week so the plant arrives in the best possible condition and is not left over the weekend in a transport depot. Please unpack as soon as possible and water well.
