Product Details

A native edible Australian bush tucker plant with edible tubers or yams and cheerful yellow daisy like flowers. In summertime the plant dies down in the heat and remerges after rain in autumn. The grassy tuft has bright yellow dandelion like flowers, it is best to label this to prevent it being weeded out as it may be confused with dandelions. This plant has improved pollination when closely planted together.

  • Tufted perennial up to 0.4m
  • Hardy plant, drought and frost tolerant once established.
  • Edible tubers, raw or cooked.
  • Grows in full sun.

There are a limited number of these plants for sale in 50mm square plastic tubes.

Plant orders are shipped via express post early in the week so the plant arrives in the best possible condition and is not left over the weekend in a transport depot.

Please unpack as soon as possible and water well.
