Also known as Tasmanian Pepperberry. Pair of Perpperberry plants, 1 Male and 1 Female as both a male and female plants are needed to produce the Pepperberries.

Evergreen upright shrub varying from 50 cm to 2 m high and 1m wide with beautiful red stems on new growth. These plantsrequire rich well-drained soil and dappled shade, a protected spot in the gardenand must not dry out.

Harvest leaves when fully mature and use fresh, either wholeor in slivers. Use dried leaves whole or grind into a pepper powder. Pepper berriescan be used fresh, crushed in a mortar and pestle, or dried to use in a pepper grinder.Leaves and berries, fresh or dried, are very spicy and have a slight numbing effecton the tongue. The spiciness develops slowly so beware!

There are a limited number of these plants for sale in 60mm square plastic tubes.

Plant orders are shipped via express post early in the week so the plant arrives in the best possible condition and is not left over the weekend in a transport depot.

Please unpack as soon as possible and water well.
