Small leaved Lilly Pilly Syzygium luehmannii
Evergreen bushy tree to 30m high in the wild or 12 m high by 4 m wide in gardens, kept smaller by pruning. Grows in sun, shade, and a variety of soil types. Tolerates drying out but grows and fruits best with regular watering. Prune after fruiting to keep bushy. Resistant to leaf damaging psyllid pests. Good hedge and screening plant.
Clusters of round, pink-red fruits ripening summer and are considered to be the tastiest Lilly Pillies. They are juicy, crunchy, and tart, tasting of clove and cranberry. Eat raw, removing large seed, add to salad or fruit salad, preserve as jam, cordial, or pickles, or add to slow cooked meals.
Plants are shipped via express post early in the week so the plant arrives in the best possible condition and is not left over the weekend in a transport depot.

Please unpack as soon as possible and water well.

Note: due to quarantine restrictions we are unable to post plants to Tasmania, NT, SA and WA.
