Midyim berry - Bush Food Plant ID Interpretive Sign
Product Details

Midyim berry, (Austromyrtus dulcis), is native to NSW and Queensland but also fruits well in colder climates. An understory plant, it prefers watered regularly and pruned at least once per year. Sweet fruits can be eaten fresh from the garden, tossed over breakfast bowls, to garnish cakes and desserts.

This interpretive sign supports place-based learning by helping students and visitors understand the culinary, traditional and contemporary uses of Australian native bush food plants.

Designed for outdoor learning and public spaces

Our Australian-designed and made interpretive plant signs are ideal for:

  • Bush Food and Bush Tucker gardens
  • Early Learning Centres, school, sensory and habitat gardens
  • Botanical gardens and council-managed open spaces

Enhance your outdoor classroom or public garden with clear, durable, and engaging educational signage. Choose from 100+ native plant signs, all designed and manufactured in Victoria, Australia.

Every bush food sign sold supports the Indigenous Literacy Foundation
