Native lemongrass has grown and self-seeded, growing well in Yorta Yorta, Goulburn Valley country, even though it is not native to this area.
“The garden design is based it in a piece of art by a local lady. The concentric circles represent camps or waterholes and the path between them the journey connecting those sites. Outside edges will be flat steel but the circles will be done in half bricks with granitic gravel between. Log seating around the edge will make it a gathering space / outdoor classroom as well as play area. Lots of opportunity for bush food plants etc along the paths.” Lauren Carlisle, landscape gardener.
